Triple Trouble

Oh yea, you know it was Triple Trouble when we kicked it last weekend in LV. Matt, Jeramy and I went down to Las Vegas for the Rage in the Sage Triathlon. Watch out ladies…..We Are, three WILD and CRAZY guys!!!! Actually this weekend again made me realize how much I hate Las Vegas…..I got a sore neck trying to keep my eyes off of the sidewalk porn…..or was it on the sidewalk porn? I can’t remember which one……

Triple Trouble in Las Vegas had to have some good moments……right?
Here is the trips Top Fourteen list

1. Golf, we played 2 rounds of golf…….which also happens to be the same number of Birdies I hit (2).
2. We went to 0 strip clubs…….which also happens to be the number of Birdies Matt and Jeramy hit (0).
3. Eating a romantic candlelight dinner together in “The Garden Room”.
4. Watching Jeramy pick up on and get shut down by a not yet 21 year old Las Vegasen…”Jeramy….she only needs to be 18…..”
5. Matt telling us all about the LPGA.
6. Lee…..”them girls should be paying us”….
7. Driving aimlessly through the streets in the good faith that the I-Phone would help us find our way…..turns out the I-Phone is just an over-priced etch-a-sketch.
8. Saw a great new Kung-Fu movie, the Forbidden Kingdom….check it out.
9. Playing hours of Tiger Woods golf on the PSP,
10. Matt asking permission to buy something he had already bought,
11. Jeramy explaining his love for older Women with “Pretty Faces”
12. Listening to Matt wine about how this 2 day trip was the longest he had ever been away from Michelle…..he actually tried to get us to stop and visit her…..
13. Running in what was probably the most organized Triathlon I have ever competed in…. and watching Jeramy and Matt kick my trash.
14. Finally, seeing Matt get "69" written all over his body.

Yes…among all this excitement, we did compete in the “Rage in the Sage” sprint triathlon. Lot’s of fun. This was my 8th Triathlon and I have to say it was the most organized. Transitions were easy to get through the run was nice the swim was cold and the bike was surprisingly hard.

Note: I brought three water bottles to the race and 0 water. Not smart when riding through the deseret.

Here are some picks of the event.

The swim start....not for the faint of heart.

Matt.....I need my sock back....

We saw Tom Cruise doing the race.....

Matty.....

Nice Tan...

Nice Comb-over Wren

No comment needed....we all know how excited Tom Cruise gets.

Thanks for a great race boys......

Security Breach

For this informative post, please enjoy “Song for Junior” Complements of the Beastie Boys.

So anybody who knows me can tell you I am absolutely smitten with my Nicolasa. She is sweet, funny, outgoing, a great mom and always there when you need her. However, when it comes to keeping a secret she is about as reliable as Tate manning a nuclear power plant. I could go on and on about this, but let’s just say, if ever you want everyone to know something, just take Nicole to the side and tell her you need her to keep it a secret, and before the conversation is over, she will have blogged it, rumored it, and shouted it out to anyone she can find. I like to call this the NICOLASA EXPLASA.

The latest edition of this phenomenon occurred when I told Nicole that I wanted to create a blog, a task which takes a lot more time than I had originally thought. So we sat down together and she put me through a blog 101 and let me be. A few hours after going through backgrounds, setting up playlists and adding my profile, I decided I needed to take some more time to get my blog up and running before it was introduced to the public. I like to compare this to the introduction of a new prototype fighter jet. The USAF didn’t let the Stealth or F-22 prototypes out to the public until all the bugs had been worked out and they were ready for production, lest they allow the competition to get a jump on them. Thus is the complexity and competitiveness that is the Sounds of Science Blog page. Here comes my mistake, I asked Nicole to keep my blog a “SECRET” until it was ready for “production”. Enter the NICOLASA EXPLASA….in what must have been record time, a link to the Sounds of Science was posted on her blog page. I should have known…….

So pretty much everyone has already seen my blog in an incomplete, nay, naked state, and for this I apologize. One benefit of this breach in security, is that I am now motivated to hurry up and get everything going. You can now expect regular posts or as we like to say, “Drops of Science”.

Hey Nicolasa, did you know that A Step Forward is Utah’s most up and coming home health care company in the state of Utah? Don’t tell anyone, it’s a “SECRET”.

Matt and Jeramy can now expect their business to triple……this is an example of using the NICOLASA EXPLASA to your advantage.

Until next time………

Droppin Science

"Shoutin out the degrees that you can't get in college"

This whole bloggin thing, while at first I thought it was silly, has really seemed to catch on. And looks like a good way to get alot of stuff off my chest, this is going to be an avenue for me to "Drop some science" and so that is exactly what I am going to do. Current events, sports, religion, politics, the average migration of African Swallows, nothing will be off-limits. Like it or not here it comes.

My blog spot is now official.

Here I am, ready to share all my knowledge.
